Large-diaphragm condenser microphones are usually universally applicable, but their main applications in the sound studio are vocal recording and voice recording.

Echoschall Recording Equipment Rental Berlin rents large-diaphragm microphones from the traditional brands Neumann, AKG and Microtech Gefell. With the timeless classics Neumann U47, Neumann M49, Neumann U67, AKG C12 and Telefunken Ela M250 we have the world's most sought after studio vocal mics in our microphone rental collection. All are vintage originals in first-class condition. More good-sounding tube microphones from the 1950s come from Neumann Gefell (CMV563 and UM57). In contrast, the Neumann M149 appeared only in 1995. It was the first tube microphone development by Neumann Berlin after 30 years.

In addition, we are renting the established solid-state condenser microphones Neumann U87, Neumann U89, Neumann TLM170, AKG C414 and Microtech Gefell M930. Moreover you can hire the Neumann U47 fet which has been the professional standard microphone for recording loud signals such as bass drum, bass amp and brass instruments for decades. Another specialist is the Neumann USM69 stereo condenser microphone, which can be used to quickly implement all variants of intensity stereophony.
